Synopsis
In this personal documentary, director Aaron Wolf chronicles his personal rediscovery of his faith as he examines the ambitious 2011-2013 renovation of the historic Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles. Wolf's own grandfather, Alfred Wolf, had served as the temple's Senior Rabbi from 1984-1985. Despite being one of the oldest temples for Jewish worship in the city and an architectural icon, it had been largely neglected and under-utilized towards the late 20th century.
