Synopsis
Alex Cox's debut feature is now considered a cult classic. Harry Dean Stanton plays a repo man - his job is to hunt down and re-possess cars on which the owner's payment is overdue. Stanton - sometimes dirty, sometimes dangerous, usually drug-fuelled - takes on Emilio Estevez as an apprentice and starts teaching him the tricks of the trade. Then the call for the big job goes out - $20,000 to the first to track down a 1964 Chevy Malibu. Suddenly every repo man in the city is on the case - as are government agents - because the driver is a mad scientist who's escaped from a government establishment with killer aliens in his trunk...
