Synopsis
Mel Smith's comedy, based on a George Lucas story, is set in late 30s Chicago, where WBN Radio is about to go on air, taking on the giants of NBC, CBS and ABC. But amid the chaos of the opening night, a chilling voice on an open mike predicts death and disaster - and shortly afterwards, the first of many corpses is found. Mary Stuart Masterston stars as the harrassed station manager, trying to find enough live people to fill the airtime while Micheal Lerner plays the police detective sent to solve the murders, only to find himself embroiled in rising body count.
