Skupina Elán už dlhé roky zotrváva na výslní domácej hudobnej scény, čo koniec-koncov permanentne potvrdzujú aj výsledky ankety Slávik. Podľa námetu Borisa Filana nakrútil režisér Dušan Rapoš v roku 1989 film, ktorý čerpá motívy práve z hudobného zákulisia hudobnej skupiny. Hrdinov filmu hudobníkov skupiny predstavujú Elánisti Jozef Ráž a Jano Baláž. Hudobný film zobrazuje príbeh o skupine Rabaka, ktorá sa po svojom rozpade rozhodne, že sa opäť vráti na koncertné pódiá.
