Synopsis
When a fragment of a large comet collides with the Earth, Dr James Mayfield discovers that the planet's magnetic poles have shifted by 10 degrees, with potentially catastrophic consequences for the future of all mankind. The only way for James to save his beloved wife and teenage son - and the human race - is to try to realign the Earth's axis with strategically placed nuclear weapons.
