Synopsis
Gritty action film set during the Vietnam War. A young officer just out of training is hurled head first into the middle of a combat zone where he struggles to earn the respect of his fellow soldiers. Shot and wounded, he is taken to hospital to recuperate and soon returns to the front line, and is accepted by the other soldiers who see that he he has at last earnt his stripes.
