Ashton Kutcher falls into the arms of Michelle Pfeiffer in this drama that tells the story of a young wrestler who sets off on a vengeance-filled search for his sister's murderer. The twenty-four year old wrestler Walter leaves the national team in Iowa and returns to his hometown after the brutal assassination of his sister to support his mother. He meets Linda, the single mother of a deaf-mute son, and whose alcoholic husband was murdered by his friend in a bar. While waiting for the jury verdict of their cases, Linda and Walter have a love affair.
