Synopsis
Italian writer-director Susanna Nicchiarelli's underground music biopic chronicles the final two years of German-born Warhol superstar Christa Päffgen (a.k.a. Nico, played by Danish actress Trine Dyrholm). It showcases her electrifying performances, erratic moods, heroin usage, and her efforts to rescue her son from his own drug problems.
