Filmen skildrer ett år av livet til Erik «Myggen» Mykland, som var en av 1990-årenes mest populære og omtalte norske fotballspillere. Dokumentaren skildrer livet hans i 1995. Dette var et år som lå an til å bli meget godt for Myggen, men som skulle som skulle bli en stor karrieremessig nedtur. Etter et godt år i 1994 opplevde han nå å bli vraket fra landslaget.
