Synopsis
An extended cinematic meditation on the nature of life and death, Victor Manuel Arregui's drama My Time Will Come hones in on Arturo, a medical examiner in Quito, Ecuador who spends his days watching bodies arrive at his clinic, often merely hours after death and a day or so before they reach their places of burial. Arregui uses the story to underscore the idea that life is transient and death finite, and the notion that each one of us must make a difference in this world while we still have the opportunity to do so.
