Synopsis
Phyllis Webber, a San Francisco policewoman, is in a desperate battle with her ex-husband for custody of their son. She receives help from Joe Sullivan, a local crime boss, who offers the services of his attorneys in exchange for inside information. Phyllis reluctantly agrees, but when Joe begins to ask for more involved favours, the lives of Phyllis, her son and her partner are threatened. She must find a way to save them and end her entanglement with the mob.
