Monte Carlo

The holiday of three young American women in Paris turns out to be a huge disappointment. Deliverance is at hand, however, when one of them is mistaken for a wealthy English heiress, to whom she bears a remarkable resemblance. The three find themselves whisked off to Monte Carlo, where they have little option but to maintain the pretence. This leads to a series of comic misunderstandings, including the apparent theft of an extremely valuable necklace. The arrival of the real heiress serves merely to add to the confusion, but serendipity has retained a few tricks up her sleeve and for all three women the future eventually looks bright on the romantic front.
