Synopsis
Guido Santi and Tina Mascara's documentary Monk With a Camera presents the life story of Nicky Vreeland. The grandson of fashion guru Diana Vreeland, Nicholas was on his way to becoming a world-class photographer when he abandoned his life entirely and entered a Buddhist monastery. He spent over a decade studying to become a monk, and this movie charts his spiritual journey. The filmmakers include interviews with many people who have known Vreeland throughout his life, as well as those from just different aspects of it.
