Психологический, биографический скетч о подростке Андриане, живущем в далекой деревне в Молдове, чья жизнь началась с принятия тяжелой реальности - первой любви, первых важных выборов. Незадолго до пасхи, в поисках лучшей жизни, Андриан решает сбежать в Европу: у него есть пять дней на подготовку своего плана. Чтобы раздобыть денег, он продает серебряную чашу прадеда. Андриану кажется, что у его матери роман с хозяином местной птичьей фермы. Подросток решает отомстить хозяину и втайне убивает его собаку, затем срывает важное дело его сына Серджиу. Серджиу вместе с друзьями подвергает Андриана пыткам и (возможно, случайно) убивает его. Бродячие собаки закапывают героя, и он возрождается.
