Movie
Miracle at Midnight
Synopsis
This remarkable film tells the true story of the courage of the Danish people at one of the darkest periods of the Second World War. When word leaked out that the Germans intended to arrest all Jews at midnight on one of their most important festivals, Rosh Hashanah, the Danes rushed to help them hide and subsequently escape to Sweden. All over the country, families like the Kosters took Jews in and helped thwart the Nazis evil plans, even hiding them as "patients" in hospital. It's a stirring story of incredible bravery in the face of terrible danger.
