Synopsis
In this musical, a prima donna huffs out of the Met to begin her own opera company. For her leading man, she engages a handsome baritone who takes control of the struggling company and turns it into a success. Songs include: "De Glory Road," "On the Road to Mandalay," arias from Gounod's "Faust," Rossini's "The Barber of Seville," the prologue to Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci," and "The Toreador Song," and "Micaela's Aria" from Bizet's "Carmen.".
