ロックを愛する孤独な女と、メタルを聴くとヘドバン（ヘッドバンギング）する習性をもったゾンビがメタルバンドを結成し、苦難と葛藤を乗り越えながら、自らの道を模索していく姿を描いた異色の青春音楽映画。うだつの上がらないバンドのボーカル、カンナは、ある日、メタルを聴くと激しくヘドバンする不思議なゾンビと出会う。そのデス声にも魅了されたカンナは、ゾンビを鉄男と名付け、一緒にメタルバンド「HANAJI」を結成。鉄男のゾンビキャラも受け、動画サイトで口コミも広まりライブは連日大盛況になる。やがて念願のメジャーデビューの話も舞い込むが、デビューの条件として、本物のゾンビである鉄男を、ゾンビ風のメイクをした人間のメンバーと交代させなければならず……。.
