Synopsis
Mark Wahlberg stars as a cop with vengeance on his mind in John Moore's video game-based CGI noir. The eponymous NYPD detective's (Wahlberg) life is torn apart by the brutal murder of his wife and child. Determined to track down those responsible and wreak bloody revenge, he leaves no stone unturned. His dedication pays off when investigating a tip-off about some drugs dealers. They put him on the trail of the manufacturers of a dangerous new hallucinogen that causes users to become both violent and fearless. But, just as he seems to be making progress, he finds himself prime suspect for a murder he did not commit..
