How Long to Watch “MANswers”?

In keeping with the cheerful chauvinism indigenous to cable's Spike TV service, this late-night series provided solutions to the "biggest problems" facing the contemporary Male Animal in the era of stifling political correctness. "You've got questions? We've got MANswers!" boasted the series' ad copy, and the producers certainly strived to please. Using re-enactments, man on the street interviews and other familiar "documentary" devices, the series assured the viewer that there were no stupid questions in matters of sex, violence and heavy drinking (though there certainly was an overabundance of stupid answers). Among the vital issues addressed by the series included "How much booze can kill you?", "How do you remove a bullet from yourself?", "How can you tell if the girl you're hitting on is a hooker or a cop?", "How do you wriggle out of handcuffs?", "Which body parts do cannibals prefer", "What to do to protect the family jewels during a bar fight", and of course, "Can breasts ever be too big?" One couldn't find such brilliance on PBS, of that you could be sure. MANswers launched its public-service career on September 19, 2007.
