Synopsis
The story is about two childhood friends - Anu, daughter of a government official, and Chanti, son of a widowed servant. Anu and Chanti get separated when Anu's father got transferred, but the two promise to each other to meet in the later period of their life. Anu then goes to Malaysia for studies while Chanti loses her mother, but is adopted by Mohan Rao who renames him as Venu.
