Synopsis
This documentary from director, screenwriter, and co-producer Alex Holmes recounts the story of 24-year-old British skipper Tracy Edwards, who against all odds led the world's first all-female crew in entering the Whitbread Round the World Race. The narrative is told through interviews with Edwards and the crew plus archival footage, capturing the obstacles faced by the team including sexism, problems with fundraising, and intensely competitive relationships.
