"אמא של ולנטינה" הוא דרמה מבית היוצר של הבמאים אריק לובצקי ומתי הררי, המבוססת על כתביה של סביון ליברכט. פולה, ניצולת שואה בת 79 המתגוררת לבדה, נמצאת במצב של קשיי תפקוד ובדידות. בנה, שלמה, מציע לה מטפלת פיליפינית, אך היא נעלבת, ומסרבת. בייאושה מספרת פולה על מצוקתה לחברתה הקרובה פרידל, וזו מביאה לה לעזרה נערה פולנייה בשם ולנטינה שתטפל בה. המפגש עם המטפלת, ששמה זהה לשם נערה נוצרייה שהתגוררה סמוך אליה בימי ילדותה בפולין, מעורר אצל פולה זיכרונות אותם הדחיקה מתקופת השואה. פולה חושפת את כל עולמה וחוויותיה מהילדות בפני הנערה הפולנייה, ומפתחת בה תלות עצומה. הלחץ על פולה גובר כששלמה חושף כי ולנטינה גונבת ממנה חפצים שונים, ומשתעשעת בחדרה עם טיפוסים מפוקפקים בשעות הלילה. לתדהמתו פולה מחליטה לסלוח לולנטינה על הכל, ורוצה לאמץ אותה כבת. שלמה החושש שאמו מאבדת שפיות, מנסה להניא אותה מהרעיון. אולם האובססיה הולכת ומתעצמת, פולה הפגועה נצמדת לנערה כל שעות היום, ואינה יכולה להיפרד ממנה לרגע אחד. עד לאן תגיע מערכת היחסים הזו?.
