Synopsis
This documentary from writer and filmmaker Tracey Jackson examines why American teens represent the most unhappy demographic in the country despite their oftentimes privileged lifestyles, and seeks to shed light on the complicated relationship between boomer parents and their teenage children. Jackson goes so far as to accompany her own 15-year-old daughter, who suffers from an eating disorder, to a variety of experts on adolescence throughout the world, and to visit a school in the slums of Mumbai.
