Synopsis
Hired by a private company, single mother Alice (Emily Beecham) actively contributes to the company's initiative of curating new species by working as their senior botanist. However, she violates the terms of her employment by smuggling a plant back home to give to her young son Joe (Kit Connor). Director Jessica Hausner blurs the boundaries between genres in this sci-fi horror film. Also starring Ben Whishaw.
