Мультфильм по мотивам басни Сулхан-Саба Орбелиани о том, как петух с собакой начали село строить, а это очень просто: петух кукарекает, собака лает, село строится. Услышала их лиса и предложила свою помощь, будет вместе с ними петь, а сама задумала втереться в доверие и с помощью кота унести петуха. Все бы так и получилось как задумала хитрая лиса, но собака вовремя вернулась и отобрала петуха.
