Synopsis
Shabin (Meda Kidem) is a college student who stays behind in England while her fiance returns to Iran to participate in the revolution. The daughter of a wealthy Iranian, she realizes her return to her homeland will doom her to life as a second-class citizen with no rights and bound by Moslem tradition. Soon, the government led by Ayatolla Khomeini seizes her money and she loses her student status and the right to stay in Britain. Her only chance to stay is to marry a British citizen. Although she does not love him, she uses James Johnstone (Jonathan Phillips), as a pawn to remain in England.
