Synopsis
Two irresponsible goofballs from the Bronx must learn the meaning of responsibility in order to keep their uncle's failing furniture store from being bought out by greedy developers. Hector was fooling around with his mistress when his ultra-religious wife showed up out of nowhere. Desperate bid to escape his wife's wrath, the harried furniture store owner escapes down the street and ducks into a Army recruitment center, where he signs up for duty instead of facing the music. In his absence, Hector leaves his furniture store in the hands of his nephew Jose and Jose's cousin Raul. When Jose uncovers a plan by Hector's landlord to close the furniture store and make room for a new nightclub, the young ne'er do well and his shiftless cousin realize that they only have a month to make the family business profitable again. Meanwhile, Uncle Hector strives to be all that he can be, and not go crazy in the process.
