Movie
Intolerance
Synopsis
In D.W. Griffith's staggering follow-up to Birth of a Nation, four stories of intolerance throughout history are contrasted and compared. The stories are linked by Lillian Gish's performance as the Woman Who Rocks the Cradle, and the film concludes with a dazzling fugue of all four storylines.
