Synopsis
Catherine goes to Belfast to meet Lilian Parkes, before going to Johannesburg, South Africa to meet her best friend, Laura Greer. Catherine travels through Soweto with a local guide and tastes a local delicacy of chicken beaks and feet. She meets a traditional African healer, learns about traditional tribal dress and customs, and tastes food from artisan food producers. Featured dishes are lamb shanks with bacon and red wine, and an Amarula pannacotta with macadamia praline.
