Synopsis
As the deployment draws to a close, the PJs can't help but count down the days until they can see their loved ones back home. But the enemy has other plans: a large, motorcycle-borne IED blows up near Kandahar city, wounding scores of people, 10 of whom need immediate rescue. Jeff stays behind to make room for the mass of casualties, putting Duane, the team's longest serving PJ, in charge of the mission. Soon after, the P.M. shift rushes to save an Afghan child with a gunshot wound to the head, while the officers in the TOC push for the young boy to receive treatment at the NATO hospital. Then, Duane and his team race to the skies to save a seriously wounded American- a triple amputee.
