Synopsis
As Hyacinth (Patricia Routledge) predicts, her grandniece's christening turns chaotic, thanks to her family's faux pas. To her disgust, the child's mother, Onslow (Geoffrey Hughes) and Daisy's (Judy Cornwell) hippie daughter Stephanie (Laura Shavin), is still single. Adding to the anarchy, Rose's (Shirley Stelfox) boyfriends, Reg (Bruce Bennett) and Dennis (Jonathan Fryer), fight over her. Then Stephanie's van stalls, causing her to hold up the ceremony. Hyacinth offers Richard's (Clive Swift) aid to jump start it. Can this kind act help Hyacinth save her reputation? Character actor Gerald Sim (the Rector in another Brit-com, To the Manor Born) guest-stars as a vicar.
