Synopsis
More Saturday entertainment, T4-style. Actor and model Alex Pettyfer is in the studio to talk about his new horror film, and Jameela hangs out with Sophie Ellis Bextor on the set of her new music video. The cult US kids show that is also popular with the grown-ups comes to Channel 4, and is set to transform Saturday mornings on T4 with its infectious mix of music, dance, life lessons, and celebrity guests. Part live action and part animation, Yo Gabba Gabba features DJ Lance Rock, who brings four toy monsters to life: Muno, Foofa, Brobee and Toodee; and one robot, Plex, in a magical mystery land where the likes of The Tings Tings and Elijah Wood learn that it's cool to say sorry when they make mistakes and to try foods that they haven't tasted before. Yo Gabba Gabba features an eclectic mix of music genres from Pop to Hip-Hop to New Wave. The first series includes guest appearances from the likes of Jack Black, Tony Hawk, The Shins, Cornelius and Biz Markie. In today's episode, Elijah Wood guest stars in a Dancey Dance; while Brobee, Toodee, Muno, Foofa and Plex learn how to have fun while cleaning up. Today's songs include Party in my Tummy, Clean it Up, and Try it, You'll like it; and Mark Mothersbaugh, founding member of New-Wave band Devo, features in Mark's Magic Pictures.
