High School Friend Contest

Voted off the island in the previous episode, Jaime Dugan has joined the jury that will decide the ultimate winner of Survivor: China on Day 39 of the competition. At present, however, we're only 22 days into the game, so there's plenty of time for such sneaky maneuverings as Todd Herzog's scheme to blindside James Clement for the sake of the two Immunity Idols. Meanwhile, another clever contestant gathers random items in search of one of the Idols while everyone else is fast asleep. The Reward Challenge begins after the "schoolyard pick" ritual to divide the eight players into two teams of four, and ends with the winner earning a sumptuous Chinese meal--and a vital clue as to the whereabouts of the remaining Idol. Also, the Immunity Challenge is won by the person who manages to remain atop a water-filled "dragon." The concluding Tribal Council on Day 24 finds seven players supremely confident that they're going to be allowed to remain in the game (though one of them is certainly in for a disappointment!), One castaway collects random items during the night in hopes that one of them is a hidden immunity idol; Todd proposes blindsiding James, who has two immunity idols; seven of the nine players arrive at tribal council without their bags, confident that they will not be voted out.
