Synopsis
Drama about the lives of a multi-racial group of students. The campus of Columbus University is a microcosm for America where people of every race, colour and creed come together. Former high school track star Malik Williams (Omar Epps) thinks he can cruise through his first year of college until he learns that he has to run faster and harder to earn his track scholarship. Meanwhile, fresher Kristen Connor (Kristy Swanson) is finding it tough to get a date with her no-sex policy, and Remy (Michael Rapaport) is discovering that college is not just one big party, as he had expected. The film charts one semester in the lives of these and other students, with the fun, pain and anguish that college life can entail.
