Heaven's Burning
Synopsis
This fun, stylish film is an Australian offering that provides a gentle ride without taxing your brain. Midori (Youki Kudoh) is a young Japanese woman who has recently wed a shy young career man, Yukio (Kenji Isomura). She is not happy with the match and, whilst on honeymoon in Australia, she fakes her own kidnapping to escape. However, alone in a strange country, she finds herself getting into all kinds of trouble including a bank heist that goes horribly wrong, and she is soon finds herself on the run with one of the robbers (Russell Crowe).
