Synopsis
In 1970s Australia, a teenage girl named Greta (Bethany Whitmore) is horrified when her eccentric parents invite all of her classmates at her new school to her 15th birthday party. Soon afterward, she falls into a surreal dream world that's populated by figures who resemble her real-life friends and family. Directed by Rosemary Myers, Girl Asleep was adapted by Matthew Whittet from his play of the same name (Whittet also co-stars as Greta's father).
