Executioners from Shaolin
Synopsis
Also known as Executioners of Shaolin, this martial arts feature is a sequel to Disciple of Death and benefits from the expertise of its director Liu Chia Liang, himself a former master instructor in the art of kung-fu. In the story, set early in the Manchu or Ching dynasty era, the White-Browed Monk has killed the abbot of the Shaolin temple and burned the monastery. Hung (Chen Kuen Tai, in one of the few films he made before his early death) is one of the few who has escaped. He meets and marries a female kung-fu expert, and he continues to practice his "Tiger Fist" technique so that he may eventually overcome the renegade hermit. When Hung's efforts result in failure and death, it becomes the responsibility of his wise and able wife and their well-trained son to overcome the evil one.
