Two years after the world is infested with zombies, only two cities in Germany are left in post-apocalyptic Europe, Weimar and Jena. The two towns take a different approach to the infestation. In Weimar, all new zombies are shot without mercy. In Jenna, authorities keep their humanity by trying to find a cure for the people infested. Looking for a more humane life, Vivi (Gro Swantje Kohlhof) and Eva (Maja Lehrer) leave Waimar to get to Jena. Their survival of the journey depends on their trust in each other and in nature.
