Ergo Proxy

In the distant future, human kind lives in a domed city called Romdo, a place where absolutely everything is under the close scrutiny and control of the government. The place was mean to be a utopia, but instead, it's a prison. Living in Romdo is a detective named Real Mayar. She's on a murder case one night when she gets a mysterious message that something is about to "awaken." Later that evening, she is attacked by a mutant creature with unimaginable strength. Now Real finds herself being pulled into a world of government intrigue and bioengineered creatures, with the fate of a city hanging in the balance.
