Synopsis
Embassy would be memorable but for the single fact that it features Richard Roundtree, Chuck Connors and Max Von Sydow under one cinematic roof! Roundtree plays troubleshooting secret agent Shannon, Connors is American air force colonel Kesten, who turns out to be a Soviet mole, and Von Sydow is Gorenko, a defector whom Kesten has targeted for assassination. It's up to Shannon to safely smuggle Gorenko to freedom. Though the dialogue is a bit top-heavy, the action highlights are exhilarating. Embassy has been issued to video as Target: Embassy to avoid confusion with a 1985 TV pilot with the same title.
