Synopsis
A zesty soundtrack spices up this stirring but tragic profile of pioneering Latino salsa singer Hector Lavoe (Marc Anthony), who was popular in the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Jennifer Lopez, Anthony's real-life wife, costars as his spouse, and the cinematic sparks fly when the two are onscreen. Lopez also served as producer. Directed by Leon Ichaso, who co-wrote the script with David Darmstaedter and Todd Anthony Bello. John Ortiz, Manny Perez, Federico Castelluccio, Vincent Laresca, Romi Diaz.
