Synopsis
An animated story about Benji, a boy desperately searching for his stolen dog. Voices ... Schoolteacher: Leslie Uggams. Benji: David Kelley. Martin: Philip Morris. Songs include "Not a Day Goes By" and "Easter Gift.", A young boy named Benji is asked to create a poster capturing the true meaning of Easter. Benji is unable to finish the project until his beloved dog Waldo disappears. Benji begins to believe that missing his faithful companion might be a bit like what the disciples felt when they thought they might never see Jesus again after he disappeared. When Waldo returns to him on Easter morning, Benji realizes that the true meaning of Easter surrounds Christ's return when so many were afraid they might never see him again.
