Desperately Seeking Susan

At the beauty parlor, twenty-eight year old Roberta Glass, reads the personals section of the newspaper where someone is 'desperately looking for Susan!' Roberta wishes that someone would look desperately for her. Life with successful, energetic bully husband Gary is less than exciting. Susan arrives in town wearing a distinctive silk jacket with a pyramid design on the back. Susan is arriving from Atlantic City where she has just left the company of a high-roller, taking his money and a pair of priceless Egyptian earrings. As soon as she hits town she picks up a newspaper with the headlines describing the murder of the guy she left in Atlantic City. The murderer is on the trail of the earrings with Susan at the end of that trail.
