Synopsis
This colorful documentary is about Israel and it's diverse cross-section of people. The birth of the nation is recalled in old film footage and focuses on modern problems that began centuries earlier. Emphasis is on how all people must come together for the good of the nation. Discord among Arabs and Jews is covered along with tourists that visit shrines holy to different religious affiliations. This film appeared at the 1961 Berlin Film Festival.
