Wonach rochen sie? Westpakete waren die Pakete, die zwischen 1949 und 1989 von West- nach Ostdeutschland geschickt wurden. Bis zum Mauerfall 1989 war der Postweg häufig die einzige Möglichkeit der Kommunikation zwischen West- und Ostdeutschland. Jährlich wurden etwa 25 Millionen Westpakete verschickt. Eine Milliarde Westpakete haben insgesamt die Grenze überquert und jedes von ihnen hatte einen unvergleichbaren Duft, der aus unserem Leben verschwunden ist. Warum? Können wir ihn wiederfinden? Warum erinnern sich die Menschen noch an ihre Westpaketerlebnisse?
