Synopsis
An adapted modernization of the traditional horror tale "The Monkey's Paw," Deathdream concerns a mother (Lynn Carlin) wishing that her son (Richard Backus)--a casualty of the Vietnam War--would come home to her. The woman gets her wish, but later realizes she should be careful what she wishes for.
