Synopsis
The story is told of a mind game that empowered two homicidal prisoners enough to charm their way out of a maximum-security facility in the prison town of Dannemora, New York. In June 2015, inmates David Sweat and Richard Matt carried out a historic prison break from Clinton Correctional Facility, resulting in a 21-day manhunt that captivated the nation. Their plan pointed to help from inside the prison walls, thus catapulting civilian employee Joyce Mitchell to the center of it all.
