Creepy Crawlers

A doctor looking to get away from it all wasn't counting on having to fend off a swarm of mutant insects in this made-for-TV sci-fi thriller. Dr. Ben Cahill (Thomas Calabro) is a physician from Boston who is not dealing well with the stress of his job, so he moves to Casco Bay, a small island off the coast of Maine, to find a more relaxing environment. Around the same time that Cahill arrives, a body washes up on the shore that has become infested with the eggs of a particularly vicious and adaptive breed of cockroach. As Cahill tries to adapt to the slower pace of his neighbors on Casco Bay, the island soon becomes overrun with the killer insects, and it falls to the doctor, Sheriff Hobbs (Dean Stockwell), and one Nell Bartle (Kristen Dalton) to save the community from the six-legged invaders.
