Comes a Horseman

In this updated romantic-western the struggle of the lone rancher to conquer nature is replaced with a conflict more in keeping with modern times - the struggle against big business. Frank Athearn is a WWII veteran who returns to Montana in hope of setting up a small cattle ranch and finding peace. Instead, he must fight for both his land and his life. Ella Connors is another small rancher, determined to hold onto her land, no matter what the price. And J.W. Ewing is a great cattle baron, obsessed with keeping his vast domain intact. The struggle against both the elements and the sinister intentions of big business brings Frank and Ella into close contact. They form an alliance to keep their land out of the hands of would-be oil profiteers. And what begins as a conflict of interest rapidly escalates into a full scale range war.
