Synopsis
Considered to be Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami's masterpiece, Ali Sabzian plays himself, a movie fan who pretends to be Iranian filmmaker Moshen Makhmalbaf (who also appears in the film) who persuades a middle-class family that he's interested in making a film about them. The film cuts between Sabzian's trial for fraud and a journalist's reconstruction of events. In Farsi with subtitles.
